Water Efficiency Training

The skills to help properties eliminate unnecessary water use.

Get Started!

The Mimir Water Efficiency Training Programs give water efficiency professionals the tools and knowledge to diagnose unnecessary water use at residential and commercial properties. Graduates know how to assess complex systems, prioritize efforts, and connect water efficiency strategies with a property’s existing routines for easy implementation.  Mimir Water graduates put properties on the fastest, most cost-effective path to long-term water management and lasting water efficiency.

 Water Auditor Training

Delivers the highest level of knowledge and retention through project-based, hands-on learning.
  • Learn More

The Water Auditor Training attendees learn how to prepare for and conduct water efficiency assessments, how to guide water efficiency projects to completion, and how to update property routines to include water efficiency.

Attendees get hands-on experience with a range of field tools including the Mimir Water Assessment Mobile app, ultrasonic flow meters, high-resolution analytic dashboards, and more. Students apply their in real-world implementation in commercial  properties during the field aspect of the training.

Upon completion of the Water Auditor Training, graduates will be able to:

    • Conduct commercial water effciency assessments.
    • Evaluate mechanical and operational efficiency of common commercial water end uses in irrigation, cooling and building applications.
    • Diagnose mechanical and operational failure points of common commercial water end uses.
    • Integrate water efficiecy strategies into daily operational routines at commercial properties.
    • Identify advanced measurement and management options for commercial properties.
    • Utilize a variety of water auditor field tools and reporting strategies.
    • Understand effective strategies for communicating with property stakeholders.

Facility Team Training

Equips facility maintenance teams with the knowledge and tools to diagnose and eliminate water waste in cooling, irrigation, and building systems.
  • Learn More

The Training is ideal for  facility maintenance teams. Graduates will understand and evaluate service provider performance and identify operational opportunities and routines that increase water efficiency across the property.

    Graduates will be able to:

    • Assess water equipment and property water use as part of daily routine.
    • Communicate with service providers and verify operational performance.
    • Diagnose equipment problems and take action for fast resolution.
    • Provide technical support to other staff in the organization

Advanced Systems Training

Provides advanced training for cooling and irrigation systems.
  • Learn More

In the Advanced Systems Training, graduates will take a deep dive into irrigation systems, cooling tower systems, and building water use.  This training builds on concepts learned in the Water Auditor and Facility Team Trainings and is ideal for facility teams with advanced maintenance responsibilities or auditors who are ready to make advanced recommendations.

Upon completion of the Advanced Systems Training Program, graduates will be able to:

    • Develop property-specific efficiency benchmarks for performance goals.
    • Utilize available water chemistry reports to evaluate cooling system efficiency.
    • Develop property-specific efficiency benchmarks based on site specific factors.
    • Create irrigation water budgets based on property characteristics.
    • Provide operational guidance to achieve performance goals.
    • Identify advanced measurement opportunities for CII properties.
