Who is Mimir?

Mimir was the Viking God of knowledge and wisdom. He was renowned for his humility, his wise counsel, and usefulness in battle. He tended to the water well that nourished the Tree of Life and the many worlds held within its branches.

The Founder

Annikki Chamberlain, President, Founding Director

Mimir Water™ was founded by Annikki Chamberlain to equip water efficiency professionals and property operators with practical solutions to eliminate the financial and environmental cost of water waste. 

 

After years in the industry, Annikki was perplexed by the low implementation rate of water efficiency projects across commercial properties. Despite many great water efficiency programs, resources and incentives, solutions rarely make it from the report to the property. She realized the problem is a disconnect between conventional water management instructions and real-world operational priorities.


Annikki has set out to bridge this divide in a way that results in long term water efficiency everywhere. Taking lessons from her successes and failures at commercial properties and companies and municipal water conservation programs, she recognized that lasting results come from connecting with the property’s existing practices. Mimir Water™ training and programs transform complex, academic ideas into practical, operational routines that makes water efficiency a habit. 

 

Annikki has a B.S. in Watershed Science from Colorado State University and an M.S. in Climate Science and Solutions from Northern Arizona University.
